The service

Splash is a matching service. We introduce homeowners to independent remodeling contractors who may provide quotes and perform work. Splash does not itself design, build, install, or warrant any remodeling work. Contractors are independent third parties, not employees or agents of Splash.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the owner of, or authorized decision-maker for, the property involved in your project to use the service.

Your submissions

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you request quotes, and to update that information as needed. You are responsible for the content you submit.

Communications

By submitting the quote form you consent to be contacted by Splash and its matched partner contractors as described in our Privacy Policy, including by phone, SMS, and email. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.

No warranties on contractor work

Splash screens the contractors in its network but does not guarantee any contractor's licensing, insurance, workmanship, pricing, timing, or outcome. You are solely responsible for evaluating contractors, entering into any agreement with them, and resolving any dispute directly with the contractor.

Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Splash will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the service or any contractor engagement.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Splash harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your dealings with any contractor.

Changes to the service or these Terms

We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Splash is headquartered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
